Ingredients:
- 2 tart apples
- 100 g flour
- 80 ml milk
- 1 to 2 eggs
- Oil for frying
- a pinch of salt
- 50 g sugar
- cinnamon
Anti-waste tips:
- Use ugly apples and cut away any damaged parts
- No need to peel the apples
- Can be used past the best-before date: flour, sugar, cinnamon (look, smell and taste)
Preparation:
Wash the apples thoroughly, remove the cores and cut them into thick slices. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar and salt. Add the milk and eggs, then mix until you have a smooth batter. Dip the apple slices into the batter, then fry them in hot oil (for example, in a large saucepan). Remove and drain on kitchen paper. Mix a little sugar with cinnamon and coat the fritters in this mixture.
