As part of the “Grouss Botz” (Big Clean), the municipality of Mamer organised an information stand on the topic of food waste. At this stand, information and awareness-raising materials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Viticulture were distributed:

• the brochure “8 golden rules for wasting less food”
• the seasonal calendar
• stickers showing how to organise your fridge properly
• and information about the “Gielt Band” (yellow ribbon) campaign.

This was a good opportunity to raise awareness among the local associations and residents – who took part in the “Grouss Botz” – about another type of waste and how to avoid it.
