In order to involve childcare centre staff and children in a plan to combat food waste, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Viticulture has developed a specific training course in collaboration with Signa, the service provider dedicated to professionals in Luxembourg’s food sector. This training is organised by the social organisation Elisabeth.
The aim of this training is to provide childcare centres with simple, practical and appropriate tools to effectively reduce food waste. Everyone has a role to play: from the kitchen to the dining room staff, including raising awareness among children. The video explains the Antigaspi pilot project at the Kannerhaus Wooltz, which aimed to show children the value of food and motivate them to throw away less food.
